“GOODBYE NORMA JEAN” – JIMMY JAMES retired his ‘Marilyn’ act in 1997. From the mid 1980s to the late 1990s his visual and vocal impersonation of Marilyn Monroe was considered uncanny and unrivaled by anyone male or female. His numerous television appearances made him a darling of the national talk show circuit: Donahue, Geraldo, Joan Rivers, Sally Jesse, Jim Moret (CNN) and more. By 1997 James retired the ‘Marilyn’ part of his act leaving his uncanny recreation of her image forever perfect.
