New Year’s Eve with Lannie Garrett’s “The Chick Sings Frank: A Tribute to Frank Sinatra”
Doors open at 8 p.m. with the Justin Adams Trio
DECADENT DESSERT BUFFET ALL NIGHT LONG
At 9 p.m. you are invited to go upstairs and view the unforgettable fireworks display right out the door on the 16th Street Mall.
Following the fireworks, come on back inside, as the show is about to begin. We’ll supply a champagne toast just before MIDNIGHT as the band starts the countdown to the New Year and once again, you are welcome to run outside as the second fireworks display hits at the stroke of midnight.
The club will stay open late (so does the dessert bar!) so join us for the fun and romance of a New Year’s Eve event in the most romantic room in town.
Decadent dessert bar, dazzling fireworks, a champagne toast, party hats/tiaras and of course, noisemakers at midnight….and the show with singer/entertainer, Lannie Garrett!
ABOUT THE SHOW
Lannie and her Errand Boys of Rhythm Quintet pay tribute in story and song to the illustrious career and extraordinary life of Frank Sinatra.
THE CHICK SINGS FRANK: A Tribute to Sinatra–starring Lannie and her top notch quintet, The Errand Boys of Rhythm. This show features songs and stories from the career of the mercurial, misunderstood and fascinating American icon and singer, Mr. Frank Sinatra. The show will take you on a journey through Sinatra’s life, loves, and his one-of-a-kind career through story and song.
A fabulous evening of great music and nostalgia: American song classics like: “One for My Baby and One More for the Road,” “That’s Life,” “Fly me to the Moon,” and many, many more songs help to narrate the story of Frank Sinatra’s amazing personal life and career.
“Anyone who enjoys the Sinatra canon will appreciate the approach taken by Denver’s first lady of song, Lannie Garrett, in her newest show. Using biographic details as a springboard, Garrett sings a compelling mix that speaks to the ups and downs of Old Blue Eye’s storied career.” - ColoradoDrama.com
