At 9 p.m. you are invited to go upstairs and view the unforgettable fireworks display right out the door on the 16th Street Mall.
Following the fireworks, come on back inside, as the show is about to begin. We’ll supply a champagne toast just before MIDNIGHT as the band starts the countdown to the New Year and once again, you are welcome to run outside as the second fireworks display hits at the stroke of midnight.
The club will stay open late so join us for the fun and romance of a New Year’s Eve event in the most romantic room in town.
Dazzling fireworks, a champagne toast, party hats/tiaras and of course, noisemakers at midnight….
AND the show with singer/entertainer, Lannie Garrett!
ABOUT THE SHOW
Lannie Garrett is back with her fantastic Big Band Show, AnySwing Goes! You’ll thrill to the nostalgic songs from the Swing and Jump eras played to perfection by her 10-piece Big Band. The show looks and sounds authentic, from Lannie’s vampy vintage costumes, to her incredible 1940s style swingin’ band.
Lannie is the consummate Big Band singer, alternately belting and crooning throughout this fast-paced show. You won’t be able to sit still when you hear the band’s version of Chick Webb’s “Play Me a Swing Song and Make Me Dance” or Stan Kenton’s/Anita O’Day’s, “Kick It.”
AnySwing Goes! will take you down memory lane with an updated version of Rosemary Clooney’s classic “Mambo Italiano,” and the band’s gorgeous version of the romantic, “Come Rain or Shine.” We guarantee your toes will be tapping to rockers like Big Joe Turner’s,“Roll ‘Em Pete,” Louis Prima’s, “Oh, Babe!” and the suggestive classic jump/jive tune, “Walk Right In, Walk Right Out.” Basie, Goodman, Ellington, Sinatra/Riddle, Harry James, and Louis Jordan. They’ll all be there!
