ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
MICHAEL COLLINS is an expert improvisational comedian. He started his career at Chicago’s legendary improvisational comedy group, Second City and went on to perform in other improv shows in Chicago, including “Plain Cake Donuts” and “Hot Pants!” Also, a professional actor, Michael recently hosted programs for the Outside Television Network, which provides sports programming for the channel’s estimated 61 million viewers. Michael can also be seen in the 2010 feature film “Dynamite Swine,” which is receiving awards at movie festivals across the country.
ERIC MATHER is a favorite of theatre and comedy club audiences alike! He has been performing stand-up, sketch and improv comedy for the past 14 years and has been a finalist in multiple stand-up comedy competitions, including the Comedy Works New Talent Search and The Wit’s End “The Survival of the Wittiest” contest. You may have seen Eric as the host of “Into the Scene” on the STARZ and Encore Movie Channels as well as in commercials for Good Times and the Denver Broncos (who often insist on throwing Eric’s face up on the Jumbotron at Invesco Field). Eric has also been recognized for his superb acting turns in the theatre, receiving numerous awards and accolades for such shows as “Escanaba In Love,” and most recently in the Denver premier of “Reefer Madness the Musical.” He received the prestigious Denver Post Ovation Theatre Award for “Best Comedic Actor” for his role in the 2009 production of “The Visitor” at The Miners Alley Playhouse.
