Motown Legends Revue: Songs/Stories of Detroit City: The Four Tones w/Ron Ivory
Cabaret owner and performer, Lannie Garrett loves Motown and her friend, singer Ron Ivory, so it was a natural fit that she write a show for him about the music of Detroit City.
Together with his three incredibly diverse and vocally talented singers, The Tones, Ron and his band will perform a high energy, nostalgic and heart-warming show about one of music’s greatest eras, Berry Gordy’s infamous MOTOWN. From Smokey Robinson to The Supremes to Michael Jackson, and all the legendary acts in between, this show will take you on a foot-stomping and heart tugging trip down memory lane.
Ron Ivory is recognized as an entertainment icon in the Rocky Mountain region. He is an extraordinarily soulful singer with a charismatic stage presence. He has a diverse musical background and years of experience singing R&B, Jazz, Rock n’ Roll, DooWop, Gospel and standards.
Ron has arranged the tight vocal harmonies and added choreography ala the classic onstage performances of acts like The Temptations and Four Tops.
Ron has worked with or opened shows for legendary performers as diverse as: Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, Dennis Edwards and The Temptations Review, Atlantic Star, The S.O.S Band, The Coasters and The Drifters to name a few.
