Monster Blues/Rock Guitarist: Eddie Turner

“A monster guitar player—reminds me of my friend, Jimi (Hendrix)!”  -Stephen Stills

Eddie Turner is a guitar god.  “Scorching”, “polyrhythmic” and “chilling” have all been used to describe his guitar playing.  He’s been profiled in Blues Revue, Guitar Edge, and has been reviewed in almost every guitar magazine. His CDs are NOT straight-ahead blues, but they meld rock, jazz, and Latin music into the mix.

AWARDS

  • 2011 Blues Blast Magazine nominee for Best Contemporary Blues CD for “Miracles and Demons” – Blues Blast Magazine
  • 2006 Blues Music Awards Nominee for Best New Artist – Blues Music Foundation
