ABOUT ARK LIFE
From 2007 – 2012, songwriter Jesse Elliott led his rock ‘n roll band, “These United States,” through 5 studio albums and nearly 1,000 live performances in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, appearing everywhere from Glastonbury to SXSW and Daytrotter to Lollapalooza, and garnering praise from NPR, the New York Times, SPIN, KEXP, and more. Ark Life’s influences include contemporaries like Cotton Jones, The Mynabirds, and the Fruit Bats as well as from their enduring loves for Leonard Cohen, CCR, Motown, and the classic campfire singalong.
ABOUT KYLE JAMES HAUSER
Is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer based in Louisville, Kentucky. He has a degree in songwriting and performs what the American Songwriter described as, “neo-folk” on banjo, guitar and vocals. Hauser began performing his original songs in 2011 and that year was a finalist at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s troubadour contest as well as The Rocky Mountain Folk Festival and made showcase performances at CMJ and The Toronto International Film Festival. In January 2012, he released his debut album “Oh Oh” on sonaBLAST! Records.
ABOUT COMEDIAN BEN KRONBERG
Since his breakout performance at the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival, Ben has performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “Last Call with Carson Daly” and the third season of “John Oliver’s New York Stand-up Show” on Comedy Central. He is also a regular performer at the SXSW Music Festival and has been featured at the Vancouver Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival. Ben co-starred in an episode of MTV’s “I Just Want My Pants Back” and is currently starring the the popular web series “Ted and Gracie,” a story of a woman who is engaged to a serial killer, but has no idea.
ABOUT COMEDIENNE MARA WILES
Her quick-witted routines and devastatingly funny asides, have made Mara a popular stand-up on the Denver comedy scene. She has a wry, conversational style that is self-deprecating and warm, poignant and silly. Mara performed regularly at Denver’s Impulse Theatre doing improv, and she also formed the LadyFace sketch comedy troupe.
ABOUT HOST – KRISTIN RAND
Westword called energetic powerhouse Kristin Rand, “one of the gloriously authentic, irrepressible personalities in the city.” She runs her own monthly showcase, “Delusions of Randeur” at Denver’s Beauty Bar and in addition to stand-up, Kristin writes and performs sketch comedy with her group “Moxie”!
We do not issue physical tickets. Once purchased, your name will be added to the show guest list. Please check in with your last name on the night of the performance. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes of completing your purchase, call us at (303) 293-0075.
Most shows have assigned seating based on order of ticket purchase and party size, assigned from front to back. The venue is intimate, and no seats are far from the stage.
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to other shows or dates.
If you have special seating needs, PLEASE let us know in advance.
If you are joining another party, please include the group name in your ticket order so we can be sure you are all assigned seats together. Group seating is not guaranteed if requested within 3 hours of show-time, unless otherwise noted. Once a show is almost sold out, we cannot guarantee group seating.
We reserve the right to give up reserved seats 10 minutes after the show begins.
Doors typically open one hour prior to show-time (check individual show page for exceptions).
We serve appetizers, desserts, cocktails, wine, champagne and non-alcoholic beverages.
