Enjoy this gorgeously musical, high energy, poignant, funky and nostalgic show featuring the songs of these two legends. Sam Cooke songs include: “You Send Me,” “Cupid,” “A Change is Gonna Come.” The second half of the show features Stevie’s hits, including: “Superstition,” “Higher Ground,” “Ribbon in the Sky,” and more of your favorites! This show has some of the best songs that have ever been written, performed by a spot-on band and a great singer!
Lannie wrote this show as she LOVES the genius, soul and singing of both Sam Cooke and Stevie Wonder. When she heard De Thomas sing, she knew she had found her star! De performed this show last year and knocked the audience off their feet (Lannie said she should say, knocked “ON their feet,” as dancing in the aisles was spontaneous!) De sings the songs like he’s been singing them his whole life, tells the stories of Stevie and Sam, and charms the audience with his charisma and stage presence.
