Making its debut in the 2011 Kansas City Fringe Festival, and winning a “Best Of Fringe” award that same year, “Getting Lucky” incorporates standup comedy, storytelling, audience participation, and burlesque performance into one cohesive hour-long show.

STARRING LUCKY DELUXE

Lucky DeLuxe (Susanna Lee) has been seen and heard on: Last Comic Standing, Beverly Hills Brides, Girls Behaving Badly, America’s Court, and Sirius XM / Rawdogs Comedy Channel.

In 2011, Lucky performed at the Ventura Comedy Festival, New York Burlesque Festival, New Orleans Burlesque Festival, Kansas City Burlesque Festival, Colorado Burlesque Festival, and the Show Me Burlesque Festival, in addition to her regular touring schedule.

Lucky is a strong believer in, and a promoter of the power of artists retaining control over their own careers, she self-produces the bulk of her work, touring in grassroots fashion.  Deluxe is documenting the process of taking “Getting Lucky” on tour for future use in helping others do the same.  The show is being filmed as footage for her first DVD.  Lucky has been lauded for her original material, which is always personal, uncensored and charmingly honest.
