Brian Stinar’s: “Love Who You Love” (postponed until further notice)

June 23, 2012
2:00 pm
Brian just lost a dear friend this week and feels unable emotionally to perform his show and do it the justice it deserves.
We are going to reschedule at a later date.  Please check back.

A sweetly nostalgic and bawdy cabaret exploring a gay man’s romantic life journey.

A brilliant performer and singer, Brian Stinar has written a very personal show, a true labor of love.  Join us for the premiere performance of this delightful musical revue that celebrates romance, heartbreak and love through the eyes of a gay man.

Opera singer, pop singer, tenor, Brian Stinar has received critical acclaim for his gorgeous voice, “powerful vocal artistry” and “engaging stage presence.”  His career has spanned over 30 leading roles nationwide and he has graced stages ranging from Santa Fe to Graz, Austria.
His most recent regional appearances have included roles of Alfredo in “La Traviata” and Tamino in “Die Zauberflote” with Oklahoma Opera Theater, Don José in “Carmen” with Opera Theater of the Rockies, Canio in “I Pagliacci” and Manrico in “Il Trovatore” with Opera Fort Collins.  Equally at home on the concert stage, Stinar is heard in many pops concerts, musicals and oratorios ranging from Verdi’s “Requiem” to “Phantom of the Opera.”

The Pikes Peak Arts Council awarded Stinar the “2006 Best Solo Classical Music Performance” for his role as Calaf in “Turandot” with the Opera Theatre of the Rockies.

Come and enjoy an afternoon of songs and stories that explore the many bawdy, hysterical, and heartfelt facets of love.
