TWO SHOWS – ONE NIGHT ONLY – at 7 and 9pm!

“Sharp writing, playful performances and impeccable comic timing! The fun is infectious!”  –The Boston Globe

Master minds, authors/directors, Katie Goodman (daughter of famed Pulitzer Prize winning columnist, Ellen Goodman) and Soren Kisiel, bring their show, “Broad Comedy,” to Lannie’s for one night.  They will perform a high-energy, in-your-face musical satire and sketch comedy extravaganza.  Hilarious!

After a two-month run at the Acme Comedy Theater in West Hollywood, and a nomination for the White House Project Emerging Artist Award, the Broads just finished a month in Scotland with their Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut, where they were a “Top-Ten Sketch Comedy Pick” (FringeReview). Winner of The Vancouver Fringe Festival, this troupe of Broads performs a high-energy, musical satire and sketch comedy show, tackling the right wing, abstinence-only education, soccer moms, various anatomical shenanigans, and things you should never discuss with your mother-in-law.

The lovechild of co-authors and co-directors Katie Goodman and Soren Kisiel, “Broad Comedy” has been a smash hit performing to sold-out audiences in Boston’s 440-seat Stuart Street Playhouse, New York’s #1 comedy club Caroline’s On Broadway, and to rave reviews in Los Angeles.  Their CD is available on I-Tunes, and music videos on Youtube.

They were nominated for an EPIC Emerging Artists Award from The White House Project, for changing the perceptions of women in the culture.
