Formerly the David James Band, The Foxfield Four is a high energy piano-driven quartet of talented musicians and singers who play a unique blend of pop, jazz, rock and soul in the tradition of Ben Folds and Jerry Lee Lewis.  Along with their critically acclaimed original music, the band covers hit songs by such iconic artists as Elton John and Billy Joel, as well as ones by John Mayer and Jamie Cullum.  Their repertoire runs the gamut from soft and melodic songs to rock ‘n roll and their concerts include humor and rousing instrumental solos.

After earning a degree in classical piano, David James and his brother Preston teamed up with two like-minded Denverites, Wes Barton and Justin Francoeur.  The talented musicians of the band are constantly writing and recording new material as part of their quest for what they call, “pop music rehabilitation.”

This ensemble seamlessly weaves Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz and Soul music into a live show that is powerful and strong.  Their songwriting and musicianship are top notch and exciting.  Rebel Tongue is comprised of versatile singer/songwriters and musical artists who promise to set the stage ablaze.
