Join us for this special evening 6PM Tuesday, April 28th for a “Night in Latin America” to sample the wines, tastes and the special music of this passionate country.

A certified Sommelier will guide you through the basics of wine tasting as you enjoy tastings of specially selected Latin food and wine pairings -by Flavor Catering.

The tasting will be followed by a concert by Brazilian Duo:

Nationally renown guitarist, Chico Meira and Portuguese singer, Nafisa Ramos

Chico (originally from Rio de Janeiro!) will accompany percussionist/vocalist, Nafisa, on guitar and cavaquinho ( a traditional Brazilian small string instruments of the European guitar family with four strings).

Tonight’s concert will radiate the joy and community found in the Brazilian culture!

Chico and Nafi will create a memorable evening of passion and romance. Although the music is sung in Portugese, it is impossible to not feel the happiness and love emanating form the lyrics from a culture that is reknowned for it’s amazing beauty and openness. Come and join us in this lovely evening celebrating the magnificent music of Brazil!

A benefit performance of The Vagina Monologues, the award winning episodic play by Eve Ensler, will help provide funding for two incredible organizations: The Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA), the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA) to provide services for victims of sexual assault throughout the state.

This production of the Vagina Monologues is comprised of a group of wonderful women from the Denver community who are coming together to raise funds for sexual assault victims in Colorado. This is a great opportunity to watch an amazing show at Lannie Garrett’s intimate little venue in downtown Denver, Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret.

The cast includes 23 fantastic women from Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, Project Safeguard, the Denver Foundation, college students, sex columnists and much more! Appetizers and drinks are available for purchase throughout the night….don’t forget your ticket includes a free glass of champagne!

All ticket proceeds benefit CCASA and COVA and will help their work with women in Colorado.
